Hi neighbors, your new board has spent July laying the foundation, so we can do even more for Deer Creek Ranch going forward. Here's a look at what we've been building behind the scenes, and how you can get involved.

What Has Been Accomplished

The new board has spent July getting organized behind the scenes. We've been working on defining roles and responsibilities across the board so everyone knows who owns what. We've also set up Google Workspace, giving shared access to documents and a reliable way to communicate internally. And we're working on putting the website to better use as a central hub for members — from gate codes to event info to getting involved.

Your Neighbors Showed Up - Recapping July Event

Movie in the Park — July 18
Over 105 neighbors filled the park for The Sandlot, complete with live music from Scott Rives, popcorn and cotton candy.

Membership Update: 120 active paying park members

These committees are the heartbeat of Deer Creek Ranch and we want you to be part of them. Board member are stepping in to help launch one, but we can't do it alone — we're looking for neighbors to join as committee members and for a few of you to step up as committee leads:

Safety & Compliance – keeping signage, gates, and park conditions in good shape

Events & Community – planning events and seasonal gatherings

Social Media & Communications – newsletters, photos, and keeping neighbors in the loop

Sponsorship & Outreach – building relationships with local businesses and growing membership

Facilities & Projects – hands-on help with park improvements and work days
|

Financial Oversight – supporting the budget, insurance and association finances
|

Governance – reviewing our bylaws and rules and ensuring they are up to date
|
